How does YTSave work?

Paste a supported media URL, wait while YTSave asks the source for available formats, then choose a quality and download. The site wraps yt-dlp. It does not bypass logins, CAPTCHAs, or other access controls.

What websites does YTSave support?

Configured sources include YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), Reddit, Vimeo, Twitch, plus other listed sites and direct media file URLs. The full catalog is on the supported sites page. A listed platform does not mean every URL there will work.

Is YTSave free?

Yes. You can use the downloader in your browser without paying or creating an account. Rate limits and a maximum file size still apply so the service stays available.

Can I use YTSave on my phone?

Yes. Open the site in a mobile browser, paste a URL, and use the download buttons. There is no app to install. Files save through the browser’s usual download flow.

What video formats are available?

When the source provides them, video may appear as MP4, WebM, or MKV, and audio as M4A or MP3. Qualities such as 720p or 1080p appear only if the source actually offers them.

Why isn't my URL working?

Typical causes are an unsupported website, a private or deleted video, a login wall, a source-side block, a file over the size limit, or a timeout. The on-screen message is the best clue.

Where are downloaded files saved?

Your browser saves the file to the device’s Downloads folder (or the Files app on a phone). YTSave also keeps a temporary server copy for about 60 minutes, then deletes it.

Is an account required?

No. You do not need to register to use YTSave.
